Royce Dunne
Royce started CrossFit in 2012 and brings over a decade of coaching experience, backed by a CrossFit Level 2 Certification, Cert III & IV in Fitness, and AWF Level 1 Weightlifting accreditation. He’s consistently competed at the highest level, earning the title Fittest in Australia in 2021 and finishing 2nd in the world with his team at the 2024 CrossFit Games. A proud father of five, Royce is passionate about helping people live strong, healthy lives for the long haul. His goal is simple: to make your hour at CrossFit Torian the best one of your day.

Christee Hollard
Christee holds CrossFit Level 1 & 2 certifications and a Cert III in Fitness, alongside 12 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in emergency and surgical care. She brings eight years of elite CrossFit competition experience, including a 2nd place finish with Team Torian at the 2024 CrossFit Games. Christee combines high-level performance with a deep understanding of health and human movement. Her coaching creates an empowering environment where members build strength, confidence, and resilience, inside and outside the gym.

Dave Watts
Dave brings over 15 years of strength and conditioning experience developed within elite sport, including roles with the Geelong Cats, Melbourne Demons, and various Olympic programs. He holds a Master of Exercise Science, is an ASCA Level 3 Master Coach, and a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer. Since discovering CrossFit in 2017 and joining the Torian team in 2022, Dave has channelled his expertise into helping everyday athletes train smarter, move better, and unlock their performance potential.

Riley Martin
Riley has been immersed in CrossFit for more than a decade and coaching for the past seven years. A two-time CrossFit Games athlete in the teenage division and four-time Semifinals qualifier, he holds a CrossFit Level 1 and a Cert III in Fitness. Riley specialises in weightlifting and gymnastics, two areas he continues to pursue as both an athlete and coach. Whether it’s hitting a personal best or mastering a new skill, he’s focused on quality movement, smart progression, and keeping training fun and rewarding.

Shania Vicki
Shania is a dedicated coach with a CrossFit Level 1 certification and several years of experience helping members improve their performance and enjoy the process. Known for her sharp coaching eye and infectious energy, she creates an upbeat, supportive atmosphere that brings the best out of people. Whether it’s refining technique, pushing through a tough workout, or finding consistency, Shania’s focus is on building confidence and making training something members look forward to.

Harris Rosati
Harris is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, ASCA Level 1 Coach, and holds Cert III & IV in Fitness. After discovering strength training at 14, he competed in powerlifting before joining the Army in 2016, where he served as a gunner and fitness instructor. He began coaching CrossFit during his military service and has since competed in both powerlifting and CrossFit, plus tested himself in the ring with Muay Thai fights. Harris brings purpose, energy, and a broad skill set to every session.

Jack Jeffery
Jack is a CrossFit Level 1 Coach with five years of experience and a genuine passion for helping others grow in mindset, movement, and performance. A five-time Torian Pro Elite competitor and 2024 CrossFit Games silver medallist with Team Torian, Jack brings high-level experience and a calm, approachable style to his coaching. Outside the gym, he holds a Bachelor of Economics from UQ, proof he’s just as sharp with numbers as he is with a barbell.

Todd Shannon
Todd began CrossFit in 2014 in his hometown of Mildura, drawing on a background in gymnastics and diving. He’s been coaching for over 11 years and holds certifications as a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer, CrossFit Gymnastics Coach, AWF Level 1 & 2 Coach and Certs III & IV in Fitness. He’s also studying a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science at ACU. Since moving to Brisbane in 2021, Todd has become a staple of the Torian community and when he's not coaching you can catch him in the 5:00am class training with his partner Emilee and son Huey.

Will Kearney
Will is a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer with over seven years of experience across CrossFit and personal training. He holds a Cert IV in Fitness, AWF Weightlifting accreditation, and a CrossFit Kids Certificate. As one of Oceania’s top CrossFit athletes and a Queensland rep in Olympic weightlifting, he’s also coached a Masters athlete to gold at the 2022 CrossFit Games. Will brings a focus on consistency, simplicity, and strength, helping members move well and enjoy sustainable progress for life.

Mike Towner
Co-Founder/Owner & Director of Training
Mike discovered CrossFit in 2009 after more than seven years coaching in traditional gyms and studios. By 2011, he had opened his first affiliate, CrossFit Lift, and in 2014 co-founded CrossFit Torian with friend Johno Snape—building one of the most recognised CrossFit communities in the world. In 2015, they launched the Torian Pro, now one of the sport’s premier global events.
Mike is a CrossFit Level 1 and Level 2 Trainer, with additional qualifications including CrossFit Gymnastics, AWF / Sports Power Coach Level 1, AWF / Sports Power Coach Level 2, and Certificate III and IV in Fitness. He’s coached athletes to the CrossFit Games in both Individual and Team divisions and remains dedicated to helping members, from first-timers to Games contenders, unlock their full potential. He believes long-term success comes from mastering the basics and doing the simple things with uncommon excellence.
